SENIOR WORKPLACE RELATIONS ADVISOR

The Senior Employee WORKPLACE Relations Partner will play a critical role in shaping our client's employee relations strategy and ensuring a fair, consistent, and respectful workplace environment.

Position Overview: The Senior Employee Relations Partner will play a critical role in shaping our client's employee relations strategy and ensuring a fair, consistent, and respectful workplace environment. This position involves partnering with management and employees to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a culture of open communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations Strategy: Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with the company's goals and promote a positive work environment.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve employee grievances, complaints, and conflicts while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with HR leadership to review, create, and update employee relations policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and best practices in handling workplace disputes.
  • Investigation Management: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee concerns, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, and management, to address employee relations matters and drive organizational change.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field, with a focus on conflict resolution and policy development.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Background in employment law, with experience interpreting and applying legal standards in employee relations.
  • Experience within the transport industry, understanding the unique challenges and regulatory landscape associated with this sector.
