About the role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Ministerial Officer to be part of our Ministerial & Executive Services, Office of the Commissioner. The Senior Ministerial Officer supports the Manager, Ministerial and Executive Services, in providing correspondence and briefings to the office of the Minister for police. The position prepares, coordinates, and reviews correspondence, briefings, other documentation to ensure quality, relevance and timeliness and to meet the requirements of the NSW Police Force Executive, the Commissioner of Police, and the Minister for the Police

A sound understanding of the machinery of government and parliamentary and ministerial processes is a must.
