Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Rigging Team Leader to join Service Stream You will be in charge of a crew and responsible for the coordination of work sites, providing guidance and training to employees at lower levels and conducting higher duties where and when required.

About the Role

Nature of Position: Permanent, Full Time Reporting Line: Construction Manager  Location: Huntingwood, NSW Key Responsibilities: Manage team performance as required Coach, mentor and assist team with their development Assist in resolving issues during construction. Provide assistance to team members and upper management for escalated issues. Ensure team performance meets expectations. Full compliance with all HSE policies and procedures Maintain daily records of activities and times Work at heights on mobile phone base station structures to install antenna’s, feeders and ancillary equipment Installation of antenna mounts on rooftops, poles and towers using ropes, winches and rigging equipment Installation of large 3G/4G/5G outdoor Panel Antennas Installation of a range of feeder RF cables and hybrid. Installation Microwave Antenna and Outdoor systems Align microwave link of to the desired Receive level (RSL). Complete antenna sweeps for Distance-to-Fault (DTF), Standing Wave Ratio (SWR), Return Loss (RL) for antenna system specification within its limits Work with cranes, cherry pickers and EWP’s as required to carry out works on site Carry out rigging techniques to install steelwork on structures, including the requirement to climb poles, towers and masts up to 200m in height at times Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability. Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials. Inspect and maintain Plant, Tools and Equipment Assist Technicians with daily works Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, tidy and accessible state Experience required : 5+ years’ experience in 3G and 4G or 5G mobile network rollouts, projects in Australia Demonstrable skills in fault analysis/diagnosis and corrective actions to satisfactory conclusion Familiar with installation standards or have strong Rigging background in telecommunications. Demonstrable skills in managing a team of riggers. Demonstrate and maintain a level of physical & medical capability Capable/willing to climb and work on towers up to and above 100 metres Experience with fault finding RTWP/MIMO/VSR issues an advantage Car license – Essential Basic Riggers Ticket (mandatory) or Intermediate/Advanced Riggers Ticket (preferable)​
