ABOUT THE ROLE:

Job summary:

The General Manager handles all aspects of Club operations, from leading the team and hitting financial targets to ensuring compliance and managing the venue's appearance and upkeep. This role also involves creating and sustaining a work culture of professionalism, teamwork, and enthusiasm, where every staff member is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Event & live music management and planning.
  • Ability to read the room and adapt & change the ambiance when required (music, lighting and temperature).
  • Maintaining the professional presentation of the venue and its employees.
  • Service standards including product knowledge, venue knowledge and sequence of service.
  • Managing feedback and complaints.
  • Responsible for the Club's financial success with a focus on driving revenue.
  • Responsible for all security procedures for ensuring that bar and its staff are adhering to all council, licensing and WHS laws.

Your profile:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume premium venue.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for training and developing staff.
  • Experience in setting and achieving KPI targets.
  • A commitment to promoting a collaborative culture and teamwork among staff.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams in busy environement.
  • Ability to work flexible working hours with the venue closing in early morning.
