About the role 

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing the Australian based China CBEC customers.  It requires a strong understanding of the intricacies of the trading, CBEC, daigou, gift shops and pack-and send business models across China & Australia.

This role requires strategic thinking, ability to build relationships, account management and negotiation skills and the commitment to drive sales growth whilst maintaining pricing integrity & profitability.

The main responsibilities of the role will include

  • Managing the customer relationships & driving sales growth
  • Understand the nuances of the trader channel and propose effective strategies to maximise sales
  • Develop and implement comprehensive channel plans that align with business goals
  • Collaborations with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to achieve targets
  • Manager key customers, monitor performance and address challenges to identify opportunities for growth
  • Identify and onboarding of new traders / customers 
  • Expand customer network 
  • Accurate sales forecasting
  • Analyse and manage traders' sell through rate and stock on hand to optimise inventory levels and informed decision making
  • Ensure pricing consistency across the traders and CBEC channel
  • Implementation of pricing guardrails

Full time on site role based in Warriewood on Sydney's Northern Beaches

About you 

  • Proficient in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Solid data, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the Chinese market
  • Familiarity with trader / daigou / CBEC business models
  • Stong negotiation and communication skills & PNL calculations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
