About the Role

A full-time 12month fixed-term (parental leave replacement) position has become available within our Talent, Capability and Inclusion team at AGL. In this role you will support the design, development and implementation of initiatives to build the talent, capability and employee experience to power AGL’s people to be future-fit. Working in partnership with P&C teams to deliver co-developed solutions, our P&C team will provide you with an environment that allows you to thrive and do meaningful work that will impact our organisation and people

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the General Manager - Talent, Capability and Inclusion, you will:

  • Diagnose problems, engage stakeholders and project manage multiple streams of work.
  • Develop change and engagement approaches to ensure solutions are adapted, sustained, and learnings are captured.
  • Lead key relationships with internal and external partners engaged to deliver initiatives.
  • Maintain a forward-looking plan and calendar of key talent and capability initiatives.
  • Drive the embedment of AGL’s capability frameworks and develop scalable development solutions.
  • Develop assessment and gap closing approaches for prioritised capability gaps.
  • Support the development and management of leader and employee briefings to support successful implementation of programs including, documentation, facilitation guides for enterprise initiatives.
  • Undertake research and competitive benchmarking on talent and capability approaches to ensure AGL maintains a contemporary and relevant approach.

About You

You will be a trusted advisor and team player, who is passionate about helping people perform at their best. You will be a critical thinker, and can problem solve and collaborate in an engaging way. You will bring your previous experience in a HR discipline within a centre of excellence, with the ability to work with conceptual frameworks to support the delivery of the overarching People and Culture strategy.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of talent and capability programs.
  • Experience in large, complex and diverse business (experience in an ASX listed company would be advantageous).
  • Proven track record in managing a wide variety of stakeholder and supplier relationships to continually improve employee experience and effectiveness of solutions.
  • Demonstratable project and change management skills.
  • Workday or similar HRIS experience will be highly regarded.
  • Qualifications and/or commensurate experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development and/or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Accreditation in a range of organisational development tools and methodologies (e.g. assessment methodologies) will be regarded.
