What is this role about?

Your role as APAC Audit Manager involves planning, leading, and managing the HSEC Audit protocol and Assurance program for Asia Pacific to support the effective implementation of the IPL Health, Safety, Environment, and Community Management System (HSECMS). The Lead Auditor oversees all aspects of the audit process, ensuring thorough audits and effective HSECMS maintenance.

 Key requirements of the role include:

Functional assurance (auditing) of the IPL HSECMS across Asia Pacific. An understanding of the IPL HSEC Management System requirements. Effective verbal and written communication, including report writing. Ability to work with personnel at various levels in the organisation and in multicultural environments. Ability to coach, mentor, and support personnel to improve conformance to the IPL HSECMS. Strong organisational, planning skills and adherence to deadlines. Ability to travel locally and internationally. Travel > 50% across Asia Pacific.

What you’ll bring

Committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Formal qualifications in HSE, Auditing or Engineering. Hands on experience in auditing and/or manufacturing/mining industries. A sound understanding of local HSEC regulations. High IT literacy especially with MS Office, SHAERS and RiskView.
