An exciting opportunity has become available in our Resource Planning & Scheduling department for an organised Workforce Scheduling Officer to join the team. The Workforce Scheduling Officer provides administrative support in all aspect of resource planning (Establishment, Workforce, Fleet). The role will be responsible in the coordination and processing of allocated positions request for Ambulance and Patient Transport Operations.
The role is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm at our Belmont State Office.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, build, and maintain rosters for Paramedics, Transport and Communication Officers
- Assist in leave management of our operational staff
- Adhere to policies, procedures, Enterprise Agreements and Fair work act
- Generating confirmation letters for newly appointed Allocated Positions
- Ensure all relevant information and database systems are up to date by collecting, analysing, and summarising data and trends
- Ensure strong rapport is continually maintained with Paramedics, Ambulance Officers, Patient Transport, Communication Officers and other internal stakeholders
- Provide information and advice to staff in relation to rostering requirements
- Deliver presentations and workshops to new operational employees
- Support with traffic infringement process with internal and external stakeholders as required and maintain the driver’s license database for all officers.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 1 year experience in administration
- Cert IV in business administration (highly desirable)
- Exceptional phone manner, customer service skills and experience dealing with phone enquiries
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and prioritise competing priorities
- Competency using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Logical problem-solving abilities and ability to think and react quickly to challenges
