No two days will be the same, you will be tasked with building Easygo’s External Communications function from the ground up, as well as proactively manage and protect Easygo's reputation through day-to-day PR activity, effective crisis communication and follow-up. You will create compelling content,  press releases, media kits, briefing documents and run end-to-end communications strategies showcasing your outstanding attention-to-detail and creativity.

Your role with us: 

Your mission should you choose to accept it, will be to play a critical role in shaping and executing our external communications and PR strategy across our global portfolio of products and services. Reporting to the Group Communications Manager, this role is primarily focused on executing PR and External communications strategies. This role also involves supporting our internal communication initiatives to ensure we have a coherent and unified messaging across the company.

You will work closely with various teams including Legal, Marketing, Creative, People and Culture and external partners to ensure all communications are aligned with the company's strategy. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a pivotal role within the company, driving external communication strategies that align with our core values and business objectives. This role will see you consult and collaborate with high-profile individuals in the media and entertainment industry, whilst also playing a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of one of Australia's fastest growing companies.

What you will do:

Given the dynamic nature of this role, responsibilities and projects will consistently evolve. However, the following outlines the initial key areas:

  • Engage with key stakeholders to develop and implement a global corporate communications and PR strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and relevant laws and regulations, considering dynamic nature of online entertainment
  • Proactively manage and protect Easygo's reputation and risk management through day-to-day PR activity, effective crisis communication and follow-up
  • Create compelling press releases, media kits, briefing documents, detailed communications strategies and artefacts and other collateral with outstanding attention-to-detail
  • Assist the Group Communications Manager and provide support for communication initiatives as needed, ensuring consistency and alignment with communications strategy
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, agencies, industry partnerships and journalists
  • Stay at the forefront about industry trends, news, and developments to identify potential PR opportunities and risks

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5 years in PR, communications, or related field, preferably within a global company or agency
  • Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing a variety of communications projects at once
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability in creating and executing effective external communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills with an outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the business and external partners
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise complex and sensitive deadlines and and adapt when needed

  • Experience in gambling, entertainment, gaming or streaming industries
  • Established media contacts and relationships in entertainment, gaming or streaming industries
  • Additional language skills
  • Global experience working across diverse markets and cross-cultural environment
