Job Description

Reporting into the Group Head of Payroll, The Payroll Systems Lead will be responsible for:

  • Drives and successfully implement system configuration and other changes including business requirements, implementation, testing, change management, updating process, training etc.
  • Systems upgrades, testing, implementation and change management.
  • Be the Payroll SME with a solid understanding of Payroll Operations, processes and system configuration.
  • Ensure data and systems are operating to enable Payroll Operations to complete payroll activities on time and accurately.
  • Develop and maintain best practice payroll and reporting processes and procedures with a focus on upholding legislative compliance and requirements
  • Assist with building team capability, driving high performance and achieving high quality service outcomes.
  • Educate, encourage and coach others in the team particularly around the technical aspects and continuous opportunities benefits.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking experienced payroll professionals with a passion for systems and driving process improvement. Key competencies listed below:

  • Extensive payroll technical experience (examples include systems admin, system implementations, BA, Senior payroll leaders with a flare for systems etc.)
  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities
  • Project experience particularly as a technical and/or payroll SME
