Associate Nurse Unit Manager
Part Time ongoing position – 40 hours per fortnight Provide a management focus within the 2SE ward to ensure efficient operation of the clinical environment Offering excellent opportunities for professional development Be a part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary supportive team environmentWard 2 South East consists of a pre-admission clinic for cardiology and cardio-thoracic patients as well as a cardiology day ward (12 beds), where elective patients come for a variety of procedures including EPS/RFA, angiogram, PCI, PPM, ICD, generator replacements, TOE, TOE/DCR, and Ajmaline challenges. The ward also prepares cardio-thoracic patients the week prior or day of surgery.
There is a strong collaborative approach across the Cardiac Service Division with a team-based approach to nursing.
Your new role:
Assume the responsibilities of the NUM/Cardiac Care Nurse Manager in their absence. Ensures the efficient operation of the clinical environment and high standards of patient care. Work in partnership with consumers, patients and where applicable families and carers. Contribute to high quality patient care across the Cardiac service.About you:
You have a collaborative working style with effective communication skills. You have a postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Care / Critical Care. You have a collaborative working style and are looking to expand your nursing leadership skills.
