This is a varied role that requires a switched-on nurse who enjoys the challenges associated with working and managing a team in a major metropolitan trauma centre and is willing to work hard to provide excellent nursing care.
Your new role:
The ANUM is an integral member of the department management team, assisting the NUM in the course of their duties to ensure efficient operation of the clinical environment. The ANUM manages the nursing and related resources available to the department, sets the clinical standards to achieve a high quality of nursing care and fosters and maintains a working environment which provides professional development and job satisfaction for all staff.About you:
Highly motivated nurse who enjoys the challenges associated with working in a major metropolitan operating suite Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team Demonstrated ability to manage a team 4+ years' experience in Peri-anaesthetic and/or Recovery Nursing Post Graduate qualifications in Peri-anaesthetic and Recovery Nursing is highly desirable High clinical standards in patient assessment Previous ANUM experience is desirableBenefit of working with the Royal Melbourne Hospital:
