The Role
The APS 6 Enterprise Risk Coordinator will work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work. Exercising both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures, the Enterprise Risk Coordinator will also display qualities of leadership.
The Enterprise Risk Coordinator will administer the overall Air Combat Systems Program Office (ACSPO) Risk Management process and its management and implementation, provide Risk Management advice and support to ACSPO personnel, facilitate Risk workshops, deliver continuation training and coach ACSPO personnel in Risk Management activities. The Enterprise Risk Coordinator will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement and will liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex or difficult issues.
About our Team
ACSPO organisationally sits in the Aerospace Combat Systems Branch in CASG, within the Department of Defence. ACSPO is the aviation asset management in-service support agency for the Australian F-35A Lightning II Air System. ACSPO engages with local, regional and international enterprise partners and suppliers of the F-35 Global program; consisting of both foreign governments and industry, to provide sustainment support for the Capability Manager, the Royal Australian Air Force.
ACSPO is based at RAAF Williamtown in NSW and supports the Australian F-35A Fleet. The F-35A aircraft are based at RAAF Williamtown and RAAF Tindal in the Northern Territory.
The primary focus for ACSPO is governing across the Australian F-35A Air Combat Capability. This includes the ongoing management, execution and continuous improvement of the various governance frameworks, processes and procedures in order to provide leading aviation asset management.

ACSPO is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. The Enterprise Risk Coordinator will be an integral support to Executives within ACSPO, whilst also juggling priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision and direction.
