We are currently seeking a Fleet Production Coordinator to support the Lead in Fighter (LIF) site operational deliverables within our Aerospace Program based at the RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.
The Fleet Production Coordinator (PDC) is an integral member of the Fleet Management Cell (FMC) and is responsible for the coordination of the short-term (12 month) fleet plan objectives. This includes monitoring and analysis of aircraft Base Maintenance (BM), coordinating modification embodiment activities, coordination of fleet transfers, fleet reporting and project delivery. The PDC function is a highly valued component of the operation and is critical in delivering aircraft on time and in a profitable manner.

**In terms of more specific responsibilities, you will**:

- Identify and report project risk, constraints and abnormalities, to the Fleet Manager that may jeopardise the aircraft maintenance turn-around time and fleet health
- Work with Planning, Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance Coordinators, coordinate aircraft Base Maintenance and Non-Operational inductions and deliveries
- Work with Planning and Line Maintenance Coordinators, coordinate aircraft transfers between NSW and WA
- Work with Planning and Maintenance Coordinators, coordinate fleet modification embodiment activities
- Liaise with Team Leaders as required to determine the most effective and cost effective method of production
- Conduct post-inspections phase review meeting, including analysing all emergent work, logistics, engineering and resource requirements for the project and communicating any MTAT change to the Fleet Embodiment Planner
- Conduct post project review meeting to identify patterns, trends, abnormalities and lessons learnt that can be applied to future projects to reduce duration, costs, risks and constraints
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly FMC reporting requirements
- Perform other FMC duties as directed

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will have**:

- The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to level of “Negative Vetting 1”
- A minimum Certificate IV in Aeroskills (would be advantageous but not essential)
- The ability to demonstrate very sound skills in aircraft maintenance production scheduling and analysis
- Sound understanding and ability to use computerised project scheduling systems
- Computer literacy - word processing, spreadsheet and database
- A sound understanding of project performance management - Earned Value Management

A Defence security clearance is required for these roles. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
