The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is the one of the largest defence companies in Australia, and is now recruiting for a highly skilled and motivated individual to conduct customer training scheduling and coordination activities at
RAAF Base Williamtown, supporting the E-7 Wedgetail Program.
This position fulfils vital scheduling support tasks and training related Performance Management Framework (PMF) reporting activities, in support of all E-7 Aircraft platform training requirements.
- Experience working in Defence operational flying squadrons
- Resource and asset scheduling and coordination experience
- Configuration and data management experience
- Understanding of Defence Training requirements
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the support of scheduling and coordination of tasks regarding Fight, Mission and Maintenance training. This would be achieved by supporting the successful coordination of all training continuum course delivery schedules, Mission Crew and Pilot Pipeline Pathway events, including asset booking, synthetic devices and live flight scheduling.
- Supporting coordination and rescheduling efforts for all training event changes. Including supporting the requirement for a schedule risk assessment and alternative plan analysis, as well as providing reporting documentation to justify and support those changes.
- Support the generation of reports for training completion analysis, and elevation of identifiable issues pertaining to the scheduling within the Flight, Mission and Maintenance Training Continuum. This effort supports the responsible business function reporting of PMF, for training performance measurement.
Experience/Qualifications
Essential
- Experience with Defence Operational Flying Squadrons
- Exceptional communication skills with business, customers and other stakeholders
Desirable
- Capable understanding of the Ultra Flight Pro program planning, scheduling and resourcing allocation tool.
- Confident level of understanding, for the use of MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint programs
The position is located at RAAF Base Williamtown, but affords exciting opportunities to support future AEW&C requirements within Australia and Internationally as required.
