About the Role:
As the Head of Sales - Pre-Need, you will drive the sales strategy for our pre-arranged and pre-paid services, leading a team of Regional Managers to achieve monthly sales targets and enhance our market share. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative sales strategies, fostering a customer-centric culture, and ensuring operational excellence across our network.
Key Responsibilities:
By fulfilling these key responsibilities, the Head of Sales - Pre-Need will play a critical role in driving InvoCare's growth, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing the customer experience.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead and coach Regional Managers to achieve sales targets, develop a high-performing sales team, and embed InvoCare’s values and behaviours.
- Strategic Sales Management: Create and execute a distinguishable pre-need strategy to advance customer connections and loyalty. Develop effective sales strategies to leverage pre-need, pre-arranged, and pre-paid services for market growth.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Customer teams to implement targeted marketing and communication plans. Foster a culture that supports the InvoCare purpose and values.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee budget setting, re-forecasting, and commission structures. Sponsor back-office pre-need automation projects to enhance efficiency.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure absolute compliance with all relevant legislation, InvoCare policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
By joining InvoCare as the Head of Sales - Pre-Need, you will leverage your extensive sales experience, skills, and knowledge to lead a high-performing sales team and create a results driven culture. Your experience in a customer driven industry with direct B2C sales would be highly regarded as well as your track record improving sales process and outcomes through coaching. You will also have:
- Proven experience in leading high-performance sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage client-focused service delivery, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Experience in consumer behaviour research and consumer marketing, with a detailed understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated creativity in developing innovative solutions within a complex environment, particularly in the context of pre-need sales and memorial services.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the proven ability to influence and persuade others effectively.
- Strongly developed negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favourable outcomes for both the company and its clients.
- High-order organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with practical judgment to make informed decisions.
- Significant leadership experience with the ability to manage through influence, particularly with a broad and diverse stakeholder group.
- Proven ability to analyse data, create sales plans, and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
- High-level understanding of relevant financial models and their application to sales strategies and targets.
- In-depth understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and customer behaviour to drive market growth and customer engagement.
Exciting Location Update:
Our InvoCare support office is currently located in North Sydney, but we are thrilled to announce our office will be relocating to the North West or Western suburbs by July 2025.
