Leader consultants (LCs) are accountable for the people leader experience at Dell. We increase manager capabilities by deploying consistent and measurable solutions with HR teams aligned to our corporate and business strategies. LCs are responsible for collaborating with our Organizational Development Strategists and HR Business Partners to execute talent motion activities from our COEs.


What you’ll achieve
The Leader Consultant will lead the development and implementation of leader consultant initiatives to include project planning, stakeholder reviews, identifying project scope and outcomes while adhering to consistent LC practices. Analyze data and identify areas to enhance leader capabilities while measuring the effectiveness and outcomes of each engagement with people leaders. Act as a trusted consultant and subject matter expert to business leaders driving leader behavior that is aligned with business strategy.


You will:
• Execute HR activities with leaders both proactively (Talent Lifecycle) and reactively (Leader Requests routed through My HR)
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of all HR Signature practices and activities and how they work together within the P&O organization. 
• Integrate complex business factors to build business capability, develop leaders, and drive business change efforts. 
• Analyze business challenges and HR programs to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Serve as lead point of contact specialized projects or programs.
• Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
• Act as prime consultant on large projects that effect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. 
• Understand all applicable governmental regulations and advocate compliance requirements. 
• Provide consulting and business partnering to leaders in achieving company objectives.
• Participate and lead in WFR Submission and WFR notifications.

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to discuss with people leaders’ essential organizational development matters and the fundamental issues of the HR functional areas (goal setting, Know Your Talent assessments, performance management, career development, training, compensation, benefits, etc.) 
• Possess the ability to present concise and clear presentations to people leaders and leverage consulting skills during people leader consultations.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects to include sprint lead, moment in time requests from HRBP or leaders as well as supporting other LC consultation needs as part of the broader P&O LC team.
• Ability to program management sprint style leader offerings and lead between 5-10 leader consultants including overview of program initiatives, timeline, expected outcomes and delivery.
• Experience working in an international or global environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the site, HR functions and the broader company.

• Ability to leverage data to demonstrate measurable outcomes of our outreach.
• Smartsheet experience to assist the team in program management and organization.
