Resourceful Recruitment is partnered with a pioneering renewable energy developer to recruit a Risk Analyst role based in Brisbane.

The Opportunity

As the Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing project risks and supporting project teams to ensure that risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, facilitating risk workshops, maintaining risk registers, and providing in-depth risk analysis and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with project teams to identify, assess, and evaluate risks, offering guidance on controls and potential treatment strategies.
  • Managed and maintained project risk registers, conducting regular reviews with risk owners.
  • Facilitate risk workshops and collaborate with contractors to assess potential project risks.
  • Monitor project-level risks and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Lead the development of Project Risk Management Plans and related documentation.
  • Coordinate Quantitative Risk Assessment activities and communicate risk ratings and treatment plans to senior management.
  • Ensure alignment of project risk management activities with strategic objectives.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Risk Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMI-RMP, ISO 31000) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in risk management within a PMO or large-scale project environment.
  • Strong risk data analysis skills, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High proficiency in risk management tools and software, with strong analytical skills.
  • A collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
