An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic recent graduate or Analyst with 1 - 2 years’ experience to develop their risk consulting career in our Property Risk Consulting practice.

Reporting to the Head of Natural Catastrophe Loss Modelling, you will use your data collection and analysis skills to assist in the development of practical solutions to help manage our client's risks.

The services offered by this practice are focused on natural catastrophe modelling and risk engineering, including the use of statistical methods and engineering fundamentals to support risk analysis and risk management activities in support of client assets to improve resilience against natural perils.

The portfolio of clients is impressive and is spread across a great variety of industries which will provide exciting scope for development for a new team member. **We will count on you to**:

- Assist in the development of practical solutions to critically assess our client's natural hazard risks, including researching, collating and analysing data relating to natural catastrophes and other insurable risks.
- Process raw data into digestible and compatible formats using GIS, PowerBI, SQL etc.
- Collate findings and analysis into professional reports and presentations.
- Adhere to all established standard operating procedures and maintaining accurate records for each project while keeping within assigned budgets.

**What you need to have**:

- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Studies, Geosciences, Engineering or related.
- Experience collecting, manipulating and analysing large data sets would be desirable.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with programming languages such as R and Python would be desirable.
- Experience with database software including SQL server or Microsoft Access would be desirable and beneficial.
- Good problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
- Commitment to providing high-level client service.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
