The JB Hi-Fi New Zealand business comprises 17 stores and a growing online and commercial business. There is a significant opportunity to grow and expand the JB Hi-Fi business in New Zealand and, over the next three years, we will be investing in improving the JB Hi-Fi New Zealand customer offer, refreshing the store network, opening new stores, and upgrading our online platform.

The Role 

The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Digital Communications Manager to ensure all digital assets for online campaigns are prepared and dispatched on schedule. The role requires strong attention to detail and experience with graphic design as well as excellent time management and communication skills. The role also requires the ability to coordinate marketing plans and execute them in a timely manner to align with promotional activities while working with internal and external stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Internal and external campaign coordination – ensure online campaigns are delivered accurately and on time through briefing, execution, and scheduling  eDM design and development - organise the design and development of company eDMs to deliver strong engaging customer messaging to support key marketing activities  Graphic design – assist in creation and review of graphic design elements, to required level of quality and in the format necessary to enable assets to be deployed without rework  Quality Assurance of eDMs and internal and external web assets  Creation, briefing and ongoing management of website pages  Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to meet expectations, attend to all queries in a timely manner 

Skills & Experience: 

At least 2 years of experience in digital graphic design, including experience in HTML.  At least 1 years of experience in content management platforms, including web CMS, email marketing platforms, ad servers. Klaviyo is an advantage. Tertiary qualification in Multimedia/IT/Marketing/Design or a related field.  Previous experience in retail is an advantage  Experience in working in a fast-paced retail Marketing environment with creative, production processes and strict deadlines  Demonstrated experience using Adobe Suite XD – (or Photoshop etc.) to create content suitable for website. Figma is an advantage.  Understanding of digital customer journey and UX principles an advantage  Ability to receive constructive feedback  Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders
