What you’ll do:  

The role of Risk and Compliance Manager at Wesfarmers Health is crucial in advancing API's Vision and the Business Unit Purpose by enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to overall organisational excellence.

Reporting to the Group Manager Audit Risk and Compliance, you play a pivotal role in providing objective risk assessment, management, and compliance services to the Wesfarmers Health Board through the Audit and Risk Committee. Your responsibilities include implementing and overseeing the Risk Management Framework, ensuring a methodical and rigorous approach to identifying compliance obligations, and continuously assessing and enhancing the efficacy of compliance procedures. Through your efforts, you help safeguard Wesfarmers Heath's interests and promote a culture of accountability and adherence to regulatory standards.

What you’ll bring: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ senior/managerial experience in risk and/or compliance roles.
  • Demonstrated grasp of risk management concepts and frameworks.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining effective compliance management frameworks.
  • Experience with RSA Archer Governance Risk and Compliance tools highly regarded.
  • Strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development programs.
  • Proven expertise in negotiation and communication (both verbal and written), including comfort dealing with all levels of management.
  • Ability to influence others, manage multiple assignments, and demonstrate proficiency in MS Office suite and data analytical tools. Additionally, possessing strong adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business / Commerce, Law or Risk Management.
