About the Role
As an Op Risk & Compliance Manager in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to ensure the delivery of the Institutional Capital Reforms Program, operational and compliance is well managed across multiple delivery workstreams, including undertaking risk assessments and managing incidents. You will also manage a control testing framework, that adheres to ANZ’s I.AM Framework Data protection, integrity and lineage - ensuring data elements as a result of capital reforms adheres to the Enterprise Data Governance framework.

What will your day look like?
**As an Op Risk & Compliance Manager, you will**:
Provide leadership & support to Institutional Capital Reform Workstream Leads by ensuring Operational Risk and Compliance requirements are met, including completion of OCAs, control testing, etc.
Embrace and support New Ways of leading through a growth mindset that effectively embodies and promotes the culture and values of Institutional Banking and encourages the team to do so.
Financial impacts of failure to manage Operational Risk and Compliance are understood, documented and mitigated.
Assist with the design and embedding in the business, in conjunction with Capital Reform workstream teams, end to end processes (where appropriate) to effectively manage and address delivery risks, operational risks and key compliance matters (including the development and operation of key controls).
Through development and management of the obligations register, ensure business processes and controls meet external regulatory and legislative requirements.

**Operational Risk & Compliance**: Strong understanding of operational risk framework and processes, regulatory obligations, and control frameworks.
**Continuous Improvement & Change**: Maintains commitment to change; engages with others to gain buy-in and act as an advocate for continuous improvement. Proactively identifies, support and drive opportunities for change.
**Data Governance & Controls**: Good understanding of data quality, data lineage and data governance practices.
**Market / Industry Knowledge**: Good awareness of banking and finance industry trends and threats (technology, products, regulatory environment, competitors, innovations). Understanding of current and prospective customer needs and expectations ensuring we meet regulatory requirements
**Problem Solves & Delivers Results**: Draws on multiple data sources and networks to understand the problem, devise a solution and deliver on the way forward, considering effective risk management processes and strategies.
