Reporting to the Case Management Team Leader, you will have a fantastic opportunity to utilise your existing insurance claims knowledge and experience to effectively managing home building, complex and high value claims to successful conclusion for members and RAA. In addition, you will:
Seek, interrogate and assess information through claims records, internal procedures and liaising with staff, loss adjusters, and builders to ensure sound technical claims decisions are made in relation to cost, quality and timeliness. Ensure the effective management of legal liability claims, providing members with a positive claims experience, negotiation settlements with all parties, liaison with solicitors, agents, and court attendance where required Deliver exceptional and professional service to members that require additional claims support due to unique circumstances. ·Proven ability to provide excellent quality of work to our members, including effective decision making
·ANZIIF Insurance qualifications are highly regarded.
·Strong working experience within General Insurance Home Claims
·Sound knowledge of Home Building Insurance processes, procedures, and guidelines, together with knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, Privacy Principles, and required legislative requirements arising from relevant Acts.
