Account Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our VIC Health Sector sales team. This role will primarily focus on nurturing existing relationships and winning new logos. The role will also have you working closely with our aligned vendors to create opportunities across a broad array of GTM solutions working within a varied group of industries.
As an Account Executive, your contributions will drive sales growth, foster lasting customer relationships, and shape the future success of our business.
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. They have a well-established professional network that they can utilise for harnessing and building relationships.

- Negotiation Skills: You are a savvy negotiator, adept at liaising with vendors to secure the best pricing and solutions, ultimately ensuring our customers receive exceptional value.
- Team Player: Collaboration is at your core. Working seamlessly within a team, contributing ideas, and supporting colleagues to achieve collective goals is second nature to you.
- 10+ years selling complex IT solutions, ideally in the integrator space.
- Proactively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities within different market segments and industries
- Manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries and engage with potential customers to understand their unique business needs
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Work with pre-sales engineering teams, to understand customer requirements and turn them into solutions within our go to market portfolio
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategise and execute plans to meet and exceed sales targets
- Create detailed quotes based on customer requirements and ensure accuracy in pricing and specifications
- Liaise with vendors to negotiate and secure the best possible pricing and solutions for each opportunity, optimising value for customers.
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to provide insights and contribute to product development strategies
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to management.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated individual with a passion for technology and a continuous learning mindset.
- Experience working with vendors and distributors would be highly regarded.
