Conduct static and crowd control duties, enforce council laws and operate the control room at our prestigious client site in Townsville.

  • Full Time |role in Townsville

  • Pay rate - $25.38 – $26.99/hr + super and shift penalties where applicable

  • 5 weeks annual leave | Relievers allowance included

About the Role

MSS Security is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in Townsville. In this role, you'll maintain an attentive security presence, provide exceptional customer service, and build strong internal relationships. This Relief Security Officer position involves working 12-hour shifts, both day and night, and includes responsibilities such as:

  • Operating the control room

  • Providing security, static guarding, and crowd control

  • Conducting premises patrols and enforcing local council laws

  • Covering events on an ad hoc basis

  • Performing mobile patrols as required

  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and emergencies

Skills & Experience:

  • QLD Security Licence (Unarmed, Monitoring, Crowd Control functions)

  • Certificate II in Security Operations

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • Valid Drivers Licence

  • COVID vaccinations (1st and 2nd dose required)

  • Willingness to obtain Hepatitis A & B immunisations

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
