Supervise a team of security officers and monitor CCTV footage at a Retail Centre in Townsville.

  • Permanent Full Time | Monday – Friday roster
  • $85,000 per annum + Superannuation

About the Role

This position is primarily responsible for supervising a team of security officers at a Retail Shopping Centre and maintaining service levels. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team, providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Working on a Monday – Friday roster, consisting of 38 – 40 hours per week, provides work-life balance. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responding professionally, courteously, and promptly to all customer enquiries
  • Monitor and use CCTV systems
  • Respond to incidents and complete incident reports
  • Maintain SOP’s and meet required KPI’s
  • Respond to emergency situations – liaise with police, fire alarms and first aid etc
  • Train staff where required
  • Maintaining logs and records of occurrences, completing necessary paperwork

Skills & Experience

  • Current QLD Security Licence – unarmed, crowd control and monitoring
  • Completed a Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current open drivers’ licence
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Supervisor/Team Leader experience preferred
  • Have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster
