About the Role

MSS Security will provide you with 2 weeks accommodation to support relocation for successful candidates.

This position is located in Bowen, DIDO options out of Townsville area are available for those residing outside of the Bowen region. DIDO allowance is applicable upon approval, accommodation is not included for DIDO staff.

The position is primarily responsible for supervising a team of Security Officers and liaising with stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervisor a team of Security Officers
• Provide conflict resolution for incidents on
• Liaise with the client and relay information to other team members
• Provide access control for both vehicles and personnel entering the premises
• Validate, issue/retrieve and conduct random checks on ID/access cards
• Conduct mobile patrols and surveillance
• Monitor alarms, radios, sensors and CCTV footage
• Provide emergency response to incidents on site
• Conduct random Drug & Alcohol tests on personnel
• Maintain a log of vehicle and personnel movements and events/incidents that occur on site

Skills & Experience

• Current QLD Security Licence – Unarmed as minimum
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Current drivers' licence – open manual licence
• Current Occupation First Aid certificate – MSS Security will fund through Return of Service
• MSIC – Maritime Security Identification Card – MSS Security will fund through Return of Service
• Maritime Security Guard (MSG) qualification – funded by MSS Security
• QLD 30215 General Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card) – must be willing to obtain
• Drug & Alcohol Testing qualification – MSS Security will fund through Return of Service
