Our client, based in South Yarra, is one of our fastest growing companies, specialising in leasing new residential apartments and townhouses as well as established residences. They have built an impressive track record of successfully marketing projects throughout Melbourne for a wide range of rental providers; from interstate and overseas investors to major property groups. 
 
The Opportunity:
  
We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Leasing Assistant to join our property management team. This role is perfect for someone who excels in administration and customer service, offering a fantastic stepping stone into a rewarding real estate career.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  
Leasing Administration

  • Process rental applications and prepare lease documentation
  • Schedule and conduct property viewings and lease signings
  • Maintain accurate records in property management software
  • Monitor lease renewals and rent reviews

Customer Service

  • Provide professional reception duties
  • Handle renter and landlord enquiries
  • Manage general office email communications
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients

Office Operations

  • Coordinate office administration and supplies
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Maintain organised filing systems
  • Support property managers with daily tasks

The Ideal Candidate:  

  • Agent's Representative Certificate
  • Strong administrative and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional phone manner & communication skills
  • Previous experience in real estate or property management would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of property management software preferred but not required
