About The Role:

The Senior Application Support Analyst will work as a member of the ICT Applications Team and works closely with the members of the Infrastructure Support team, this includes;

  • Provide expert-level support for a wide range of business applications, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and root cause analysis. Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests according to defined SLAs.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of supported applications, their underlying technologies, and integration points. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in application support and related technologies.
  • Manage and prioritize incidents using established ITIL processes. Investigate and diagnose issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams when necessary. Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate incident status and resolution updates.

  • A degree level qualification and post graduate qualification.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in application support or related roles, with a focus on enterprise-level applications
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management.
  • In-depth knowledge of various operating systems, databases, programming languages, and web technologies.
  • Azure & AWS Cloud experience
  • ITIL Certified (desirable)
