About the team
The IT team is a diverse team spread geographically throughout offices within Australia. The team works closely with other business areas on both ICT and internal business projects and applications to ensure the organisation is positioned to meet the requirements of our external clients. The work we do involves both back of house applications and processes, and assisting our client facing teams and colleagues to find efficiencies and improve the way they work.
Current opportunity
As a Team Administrator, you’ll contribute to the success of the firm by working closely with the IT team and internal stakeholders to provide team support and maintain effective administrative systems. Working as part of the IT team and reporting to the Business Systems Manager, you can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, or Perth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide broad team administration and coordination support
- Assist with purchasing processes (e.g. software procurement/renewals) including coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendor
- Coding and co-ordinating the payment of invoices with our AP team
- Assist with budget reconciliation and maintenance
- Credit Card expense processing and matching invoices
- Maintain various IT information and data registers
- Control and maintenance of data and document management
- Assist with the establishment and maintenance of team processes and administrative procedures
You’ll ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Previous finance skills in procurement, payables, and budgeting
- Previous experience in an IT environment desirable
- Proven ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to build effective and inclusive relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organisational and problem solving skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administration role with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
