The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivatedadministrative Patent Assistant to join our Brisbane Chemistry/LifeSciences team on full-time basis. The successful candidate will bean integral part of the team working closely with our Principalsand Patent Attorneys. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and e-filing documentation at IP Australia, IPONZ and WIPO Drafting basic correspondence Preparing, finalizing and sending electronic correspondence Management of individual attorney practices and deadlines File and matter management Preparing and sending invoicesThe ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and a fast andenthusiastic learner. Previous experience as an IP administrativeassistant, while highly regarded, is not essential.
Key skill requirements for this role include:
Excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, and work to deadlines Experience using Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication skillsWorking with DCC
