The individual performing the role of Test Lead has the responsibility of leading the planning, preparation, execution and reporting of testing activities across large and complex projects. The role should ensure that testing activities follow appropriate testing methodologies and contribute to ongoing development and improvement of business performance.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

Experience

  • As a guide it is expected that the person performing this role has 5 plus years’ experience in testing including experience in leading small teams
  • Experience using range of test management tools
  • Experience using a range of defect tracking tools
  • Experience conducting testing on a range of systems and technologies
  • Experience working on large testing projects and multi-vendor environments
  • Customer service experience is desirable

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in software testing methodologies, including waterfall and agile.
  • Familiarity with the V Model.
  • Experience in non-functional testing.
  • Knowledge of Load and Stress Testing.
  • Understanding of RQA (Requirements Quality Analysis).
  • Familiarity with Usability testing.
  • Knowledge of relational databases.
  • Understanding of virtualization.
  • Ability to develop testing approaches for web services.
  • Ability to develop testing approaches for websites.
  • Ability to develop testing approaches for mobile websites and applications
  • Should be able to explain the difference between customer service and customer experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies
  • Experience in AWS infrastructure testing is mandatory
  • Is able to explain the difference between customer service and customer experience
