About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with network expertise to join our client's team and play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing their cloud infrastructure and network services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor cloud environments to optimize performance across compute and storage resources, and promptly address any issues that arise.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud and network infrastructures in AWS.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting for network issues, particularly with Cisco equipment, Palo Alto firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Lead the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline cloud resource management.
  • Build, manage, and containerize using Kubernetes and/or Docker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud services.
Requirements
  • Australian PR or Citizenship only.
  • Proven experience as a AWS Cloud Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, standards, and concepts, including DHCP and IP address management, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
  • AWS Cloud infrastructure design and management with security and efficiency in mind.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit and continuous learning mindset.
  • Experience in working according to agile, scrum, or SAFe principles.
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
