The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Pastry cook to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for pastry and dessert-making, with knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards. While we offer comprehensive training, prior experience in a fast-paced, similar environment will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake inclusions and create ripples for our gelato range.
  • Assemble, decorate, and prepare gelato cakes and inserts.
  • Craft chocolate decorations and other elements to enhance our gelato products.
  • Collaborate closely with the head chef to support all daily kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with current HACCP guidelines and food safety programs.
  • Maintain productivity and quality in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum certificate IV in Patisserie or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a pastry cook or in a similar dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to uphold high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to our team culture.
