More about what you’ll do

 

Reporting to the Private & Exclusive Label Procurement Manager, the Import Coordinator will manage the timely replenishment of imported goods, ensuring inventory meets customer demand while following company policies and supplier agreements.

 

This role is a 12 Month Contract.

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and forecast stock levels to ensure optimal availability, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Purchase Order Management: Create, manage, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, costs, and delivery timelines.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with international suppliers to confirm order details, shipping schedules, and lead times. Proactively address delays or discrepancies.
  • Shipping Management: Collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure timely product shipment and delivery, while maintaining accurate import documentation.
  • Stock Transfers: Manage overstock and coordinate smooth stock transfers between distribution centres.
  • Ad hoc Work: Occasionally assist with additional tasks outside primary responsibilities.

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

  • Proven experience in inventory management and shipping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
