Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, we are looking for a Casual or Full-Time Purchasing Officer to join our dedicated team at Nick Scali.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role, as this position involves engaging with both local and international suppliers to ensure timely and accurate order allocation to shipping containers. Proficiency in written and verbal communication in Mandarin is highly valued, as you will be coordinating with suppliers from Australia, China, and Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and managing purchase orders
- Communicating with overseas suppliers regarding product inquiries
- Verifying and maintaining supplier report accuracy
- Coordinating orders with suppliers
- Addressing inquiries from showrooms and warehouses.
Candidate Profile:
- Knowledgeable in export/import processes (e.g., payment terms)
- Strong office administration skills
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and various technology platforms.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
