More about what you’ll do
Reporting to the Private & Exclusive Label Procurement Manager, the Import Coordinator will manage the timely replenishment of imported goods, ensuring inventory meets customer demand while following company policies and supplier agreements.
This role is a 12 Month Contract.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and forecast stock levels to ensure optimal availability, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations.
- Purchase Order Management: Create, manage, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, costs, and delivery timelines.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with international suppliers to confirm order details, shipping schedules, and lead times. Proactively address delays or discrepancies.
- Shipping Management: Collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure timely product shipment and delivery, while maintaining accurate import documentation.
- Stock Transfers: Manage overstock and coordinate smooth stock transfers between distribution centres.
- Ad hoc Work: Occasionally assist with additional tasks outside primary responsibilities.

- Proven experience in inventory management and shipping.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
