ABOUT THE ROLE:

Located at our beautiful Bunurong Memorial Park , this 12 month fixed term contract as SMCT's Marketing Executive will have you coordinating and executing a range of marketing activities across online and offline channels. You will be supporting the Marketing team with existing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives to support organisation and customer objectives.

In addition to this, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring SMCT brand communications are consistently implemented across internal and external channels
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver internal and customer-facing initiatives.
• Supporting the roll out of the in-house advertising function with hands-on implementation of digital ads and reporting in line with marketing and advertising objective
• Working with the wider team to plan and implement the SMCT advertising schedule, taking a campaign-based approach
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on marketing campaigns
• Monitoring spends to ensure campaigns and initiatives are delivered to budget

  In addition to this, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring SMCT brand communications are consistently implemented across internal and external channels
  • Collaborating with Events and Digital teams to deliver on internal and customer-facing initiatives
  • Supporting the roll out of the in-house advertising function with hands-on implementation of digital ads and reporting in line with marketing and advertising objective
  • Working with the wider team to plan and implement the SMCT advertising schedule, taking a campaign-based approach
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on marketing campaigns
  • Monitoring spends to ensure campaigns and initiatives are delivered to budget
  • Provide informative briefs to in-house creative team and external agencies to ensure campaigns and marketing collateral are delivered on brand and meet objectives

   ABOUT YOU:

  To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 1-3 years prior work experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing strategies and techniqies
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills with an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong capability to plan, organise and complete administrative tasks.
  • Collaborative working style with an ability to work simultaneously in a strategic and hands on capacity to achieve individual, team and organisational goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability to develop and edit creative writing executions (advanced communication and interpersonal skills).
  • Excellent literacy, writing, editing, and proofing skills.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools preferred
  • Highly driven work ethic, 'can do' attitude, the ability to multi-task and deliver a high level of standard.
  • Confidence to work within a small team environment successfully to tight deadlines.
