Key Responsibilities: 

As the Sales & Events Executive, you will:

  • Manage and respond to all incoming leads promptly to convert enquiries into sales.
  • Drive outbound sales efforts to secure new business for our venues.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline through database building and lead generation.
  • Create and customize event packages to align with market trends and customer preferences.
  • Recommend tailored packages and prepare quotes to meet client needs.
  • Ensure seamless handovers of functions to venue teams for exceptional service delivery.
  • Follow up with clients post-event for feedback and remarketing.
  • Generate reports to track sales performance and contribute to overall sales strategy.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients and industry contacts to drive repeat business.
  • Attend meetings and liaise with the operations team and individual venues.
  • Support the Group Sales & Events Manager with administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and promotions.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and conduct regular competitor analysis.
  • Continuously assess and improve sales processes and procedures.
  • Keep online listings, website, and function packs up to date.

What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successful sales, particularly outbound. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively are crucial, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders. A passion for sales and building and maintaining relationships is essential.

 

Additional Information: While the position is primarily worked between Monday and Friday, some evening and weekend work may be required. Travel to interstate and remote/regional areas may also be necessary.
