Wood is seeking expressions of interest from a Contract Coordinator with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is anticipated to be a permanent role to support of one of our key clients in the region with start date 1st quarter 2025.

Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.  

Wood is seeking expressions of interest from a Contract Coordinator with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance to join our Operations team in Darwin, Northern Territory.

You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia.  Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply.

You must also be based in Darwin / willing to relocate to Darwin.

Ideally, you will have proven experience in a similar Contracts Coordinator role, with 10 years maintenance experience, including 5 years in a supervisory maintenance role on a permanently staffed producing facility.  In addition, you will have:

  • Extensive track record of successful operational and strategic delivery within the Oil & Gas sector
  • An ability to interpret technical drawings, documents and management reports
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems preferred 
  • Excellent analytical, literacy and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to provide ‘hands on’ support as required
