The Opportunity

We are seeking a Clerical Team Leader with exceptional leadership skills to join the team at our Victoria Point clinic. This is a full-time position responsible for the daily administrative function of the practice.

You will:

  • Work closely with the Administration Manager to ensure the effective and smooth running of the clerical team.
  • Supervise, lead, and mentor the clerical staff, including performance management and appraisal, rostering, training and recruitment of new staff.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of clerical systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with billing systems, communications and policies.

About You

Alongside your experience in medical administration, you have excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
You will also have: 

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and warm and friendly demeanor
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team, delegate where required and prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and confidence in taking initiative 
  • The ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
  • High-level organisational and time management skills
