**Opportunity**:

- Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology _has an exciting opportunity for a **Pathology Services Assistant (Payroll/Clerical)**:

- Biochemistry **to work from their Bowen Hills laboratory in Brisbane.

Your primary responsibility in this role will be administering and performing the payroll functions for approximately 120 staff within the Biochemistry department.

Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will include the following:

- Use of payroll software for ensuring all staff from the Biochemistry Department are paid correctly;
- Learn and understand the Collective Workplace Agreement for Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology Biochemistry staff;
- Clerical and administration tasks for the biochemistry department and senior staff;
- Maintaining an organised and efficient work environment.

Typical working hours are 7.5-hour shifts with flexibility to adjust start and finish times. Both part-time and full-time applicants will be considered, with a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight. You must be able to work every second Monday when payrolls are finalised.

**About You**:
Prior experience in an administration role would be helpful, along with demonstrated excellence in time management, working to deadlines and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience in data entry or administration;
- Previous knowledge of payroll systems (e.g. KRONOS, iChris) would be advantageous though not mandatory
- Can multitask and juggle competing priorities effectively and independently with high-level organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Has the ability to accept and manage change, manage competing demands;
- Has a can-do attitude with a willingness to learn; and
- Is very computer literate, with a high level of competency in the Microsoft Office Package and experience in managing databases.
