WOW Recruitment are proud to be an exclusive recruitment partner for this ambitious and fast-growing  fintech  company in Sydney. The Merchant Services Manager will lead the team of Merchant Assist team members, plus the newly created Retention team who look after their top tier customer base. 
 
Main duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Driving the effective outcome on team’s performance, resulting in achieving targets and KPI’s whilst continuously increasing customer experience across all touchpoints.  
  • Leading and motivating the team using your leadership skills and qualities, including coaching and mentoring, communicating goals, setting objectives, sharing feedback, conducting Performance Reviews (PMP), personal development plans (PDPs), and supporting social and wellbeing activities.  
  • Be a change agent - Lead and manage change within the team and foster a positive team culture.   
  • Ability to build and enhance Operational acumen and design thinking processes to deliver a customer first mindset across the department.  
  • Creating and co designing a successful Merchant Services team to reduce retention across all Tiers.  

 
  Skills & Experience   

  • 5 – 7 years of demonstrated experience in People Leadership.  
  • Full knowledge of Process Improvement, Operational Excellence and driving Productivity.  
  • Extensive experience in a fast paced, changing customer service environment.     
  • Financial services background advantageous.
