Transdev John Holland Buses is seeking a skilled and data-driven Performance Manager to provide in depth and accurate business metrics to various internal and external stakeholders so as to ensure THJB meets its contractual and financial objectives. 

Reporting to the Network Planning Manager and located at Waverley depot this role will also manage a small but dynamic team, who work together with Service Delivery (Operations) to ensure the ongoing financial viability of the business and driving continuous improvement and change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team to create a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement performance dashboards and reporting systems, using tools such as PowerBI.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and insights to stakeholders, supporting business decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of periodic and ad-hoc reporting to key stakeholders, including Transport for NSW.
  • Manage business improvement projects, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the attribution process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on performance metrics.

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar management role, preferably in public transport, logistics, or a related service industry.
  • Strong experience with performance reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI) and analytical software.
  • Proven track record of delivering business improvement projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in developing professional capabilities within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data to diverse audiences.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and implement performance improvements.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Agreements and Fatigue Management Legislation is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business management, or a related discipline are desirable.
