How you will spend your time 

In the Settlements Officer role, you will be responsible for managing loans post-approval through to settlement and delivering a seamless experience for our customers and brokers. In this role, you will:

  • Manage lending relationships after loan approval for direct and broker clients.
  • Coordinate tasks up to settlement, including loan docs and settlement
  • Handle new loans, variations, and discharges
  • Boost performance metrics like productivity, quality, and engagement
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlements, including loan drawdown and mortgage variations
  • Initiate and implement process improvements
  • Develop your skills and share knowledge to train team members
  • Deliver a great customer experience and grow advocacy
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Communicate potential risks to ensure compliance
  • Review and analyze customer experience criteria
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Quality framework

What you will bring 
 

  • Experience in a Mortgage/Home Lending role in a financial institution highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
