About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Settlements Officer to join our team at Australian Military Bank. As a Settlements Officer, you will be responsible for the timely processing of home loans, including loan security documentation associated with purchases, refinances, discharges, and variations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process home loans in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Provide on-going support to members, branches, and third parties associated with the full loan process.
  • Investigate and escalate issues related to documentation, Certificate of Title, Mortgage, Loan Contracts, Guarantees, PPSR, and other loan documentation.
  • Apply sound organisational and time management skills to handle competing priorities effectively.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working in property conveyancing or in a loan settlements role.
  • Demonstrated high customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with reading Certificate of Titles, Loan Contracts, Mortgages, and other loan documentation.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise, manage deadlines, and adapt to new ideas and concepts quickly.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work well under pressure.
