About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Settlements Officer to join our team at Australian Military Bank Ltd. As a key member of our Settlements and Variations Group, you will be responsible for the timely processing of home loans, including loan security documentation associated with purchases, refinances, discharges, and variations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process loan documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare loan contracts, discharge payout figures, and account closures
  • Process construction loan drawdown/payments and switch/variation requests
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a positive member experience
  • Prepare and send post-settlement notifications to members
  • Manage the Settlements & Variations Group Box and respond to requests professionally within agreed-upon timeframes
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following key attributes and experience:

  • Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases
  • Understanding of banking/financial services and products
  • At least 3 years' experience working in property conveyancing or in a loan settlements role
  • Legal and/or conveyancing knowledge desirable
  • High customer service and relationship management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, manage deadlines, and adapt to new ideas and concepts quickly
