Hastings Deering is offering a new opportunity for a Reliability Specialist to join our team. Due to the location of the sites that this role will support, we are ideally looking for a candidate to be based in our or branches on a basis.

The purpose of this role is to proactively interpret site data with a focus on identifying efficiency gaps and potential enhancements for the 796AC trucks operating at Carmichael Mine.

The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

Provide timely reporting of maintenance events from a predictive perspective in relation to data supplied to reduce fleet operating costs Build relationships with clients based on trust and value Undergo site visits and provide customer training as required Use laboratory samples and Product Link to analyse/interpret data for diagnosis of machine health and maintenance issues Use data analysis to complete estimate for parts and labour Provide timely and accurate pre-failure recommendations to customers to reduce machine operating costs and equipment down-time Foster Parts and Service sales through warranted customer recommendations Ensure all data analysis, recommendations and follow up is recorded in Saleslink and relevant parties are kept informed of process/progress Ensure appropriate feedback is provided to the organisation regarding equipment health


About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical)  Minimum 5 years’ + experience in a similar role within a mining/heavy earthmoving equipment environment Experience in fluid and data analysis Technical background working with Product link or similar Experience providing solutions to customers for optimum outcomes Trade qualification would be considered advantageously
