About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a skilled Reliability Specialist to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively interpreting site data to identify efficiency gaps and potential enhancements for our 796AC trucks operating at Carmichael Mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely reporting of maintenance events from a predictive perspective to reduce fleet operating costs
  • Build relationships with clients based on trust and value
  • Conduct site visits and provide customer training as required
  • Analyse and interpret data from laboratory samples and Product Link to diagnose machine health and maintenance issues
  • Use data analysis to complete estimates for parts and labour
  • Provide timely and accurate pre-failure recommendations to customers to reduce machine operating costs and equipment downtime
  • Foster Parts and Service sales through warranted customer recommendations
  • Ensure all data analysis, recommendations, and follow-up are recorded in Saleslink and relevant parties are kept informed of process and progress
  • Provide feedback to the organisation regarding equipment health
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a mining/heavy earthmoving equipment environment
  • Experience in fluid and data analysis
  • Technical background working with Product Link or similar
  • Experience providing solutions to customers for optimum outcomes
  • Trade qualification would be considered advantageous
