About the Role

As a Tool Store Operator, you will be responsible for assisting the team with new asset arrivals, creating purchase requisitions, and maintaining the consumables and stores area in the workshop.

  • Assist the team with new asset arrivals to site
  • Create purchase requisitions and liaise with SAP suppliers
  • Escalate concerns with parts
  • Maintain the consumables and stores area in the workshop and place orders as required
  • Raise purchase orders and warehouse reservations
  • Raise urgent freight requests
  • Provide general workshop support
  • Support site light vehicle management

This role is based in the Mackay Region at the BMA Hay Point Coal Terminal Site, working a Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday day roster. The role is dayshift only, with the possibility of some nightshift work if requested or for future crew openings.

About You

We are looking for an individual with warehousing or tool store experience, a C-Class driver's license, and intermediate computer skills. Desirable skills include SAP knowledge and experience, strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to work closely in a team environment.
